The sun casts golden flares in any Midsummer day, it also shines most intense during these times. I still don’t know if my presence is felt that way, I’m quite inconsistent and I am aware of that. The moment you compared me to sun is the very moment I’m struggling my effect on people— may it be written or photographed. And the affirmation comes in the nick of time, and I’m genuinely thankful for you pointing it out. I wonder though if my shade is bright enough to illuminate you when you feel like dwelling in the corner, because reality becomes to much to bear. And if that shade is vibrant enough to ease the pang of emptiness that is in solitude. You saved me, shallow as it sounds, I just wanna return the favor. I’ll be sun that radiates enough colour to brim your days with life, be the sunrise’s yellowcast permeating beauty to flowers in bloom. I’ll be bright enough for you to see the  greens that glow in the grass, the dark kind of gray silhouette of tall trees, the rust in the chain-linked fences that makes them idyllic.  Well at least it aged with memories when I scale it to pursue adventures beyond. I’ll be the white in the snow caps, the horizon where the ocean and the mountains meet. Yes, like technicolour phases that paint a smile in your lips. I just wanna be the vibrant gleam I once see in your eyes, the whimsical feel framed in black and white photographs. The one that turns every skyline into palettes of magic when it sets— if you really think I am then I wanna be this kind of sun.
I just wanna be that kind of Sun.
